About E.A.T Bistro
Located at 8168 Garvey Ave Ste b, Rosemead, CA 91770, E.A.T Bistro operates as a hong kong cafe serving Rosemead in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–10 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach E.A.T Bistro at (626) 573-8998; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
Its Google rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 523 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Rosemead is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Rosemead follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Whenever I’m in LA, EAT Bistro is always a must-visit. They serve some of the best Hong Kong-style food I’ve had outside of Hong Kong. Every dish is consistently delicious, and the quality never disappoints. The service is just as amazing—friendly, attentive, and welcoming every time. If you’re craving authentic Hong Kong comfort food with excellent service, I highly recommend EAT Bistro!

Typical mom n pop HK spot for fast and tasty authentic southern Cantonese cuisine. Great bang for your buck breakfast special combos! This is definitely my fam's favorite go to spot for brunch! 😋

EAT Bistro is a solid Hong Kong style cafe on this side of the SGV. Their menu is so extensive. Each restaurant has their own style. The last time I ordered honey garlic pork chops here, they came out like big ribs. I could barely get meat because it was mostly fat. Also it took like 25 minutes to come out, so I had finished the other dishes already. I had to take the pork chops home. Baked bolognese is solid here. It comes with garlic bread. The restaurant is clean, unlike some other HK cafes. Also James Wang is not on their placemats. Service is a bit slow, but the servers speak English.

Probably the best Hong Kong-style café I’ve tried in the LA area so far! The food is both authentic and flavorful, with generous portions at excellent value. The Cantonese and Hong Kong café-style dishes are executed with care, and the lunch specials are particularly appealing, often accompanied by the soup of the day. The restaurant can get quite busy, so expect a bit of a wait—our food took just over 20 minutes. However, the staff are hardworking and efficient, and a little patience goes a long way. Service is friendly and attentive, making it a welcoming spot for families. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for anyone seeking authentic Hong Kong café cuisine in Rosemead, CA.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 📍Location & Parking This is honestly one of the better Hong Kong–style cafés in the SGV. It’s located inside “The Square” plaza at Garvey Ave & San Gabriel Blvd — a super busy plaza with tons of shops and eateries, so you already know it’s popular. Because of that, parking can be a little challenging during peak hours. If you come during breakfast or weekend brunch time, be prepared to circle a few laps before finding a spot. 🍳 Breakfast & Food Quality Their breakfast menu is surprisingly extensive — definitely more options than most cha chaan tengs around the area. Not only is there variety, but the overall taste and quality are noticeably better than many other HK cafés nearby. The food comes out fairly quickly despite how busy they usually are, and portions are satisfying. 👩🍳 Service & Atmosphere Service here is good and attentive. Staff check on you regularly and keep things moving efficiently, which is necessary because the place is almost always packed. The only downside: it gets loud. With the constant crowd and table turnover, don’t expect a quiet brunch spot — this is more of a classic lively Hong Kong café vibe. 📝 Overall If you want a dependable cha chaan teng
